Attending Preschool is a great experience for your child. We have a daily schedule, but we also manage to have a lot of fun! Preschool offers your child a chance to socialize and learn with his or her peers. Parents of Preschoolers also benefit by meeting new people and making friends. This class is for parents to do with their children to prepare them for tiny tumblers. This is a very basic tumbling and stretching class. Grandparents are also welcome to participate. Basic Baton

This class in an introduction to basic baton skills and marching. Please wear sneakers and have hair pulled away from the face. You will also need to bring your own baton. A short routine will be taught and shown to the parents the last week of class. This class is taught by Lindsey Kline who has twirled baton for 13 years and won numerous titles and awards.

Shrek’s Pumpkin Patch Party

This is an introductory level class featuring the classic art of ballet. Basic positions and movements will be taught along with vocabulary. Ballet shoes are preferred, but sneakers are also acceptable.

School Age Child Care (SACC)

Our 2008–09 SACC program is held at Canadochly, Wrightsville and Kreutz Creek Elementary Schools for children enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We offer before school care from 6:30 a.m. until school starts and after school care from school dismissal until 6 p.m. We are licensed through the Department of Public Welfare. Breakfast is served in the morning and a snack is served in the afternoon, in addition, we provide help with homework, and an array of activities including: arts and crafts, free play time, group games, physical fitness activities and special events.
 

School’s Out Program
 

Our School’s Out program is offered at the Lower Windsor Township Building for Canadochly Elementary School and at ValleyView Alliance Church for Kreutz Creek and Wrightsville Elementary Schools when Eastern York School District is closed for scheduled days off. The program opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. Breakfast and lunch are not provided ( AM and PM snacks are available). Daily activities include crafts, games, science experiments, food projects, and movies. We also offer some special events such as field trips and parties. We require a minimum of 12 children to operate the program each day. Pre-registration is required. Rates for the 2008–09 school year are $24 for residents of Eastern York School District and $29 for non-residents of Eastern York School District. A 10% discount is given to a second child per family.

Fun Nights
Fridays, August 22, September 19, October 17, November 14, December 19; 7–10 p.m.
Location: Lower Windsor Township Building

Ages: 6th–8th grade
Come to the Lower Windsor Township Building and enjoy your Friday night with music, basketball and FUN! DJ Mr. Wes will spin the tunes. Concession items will also be available for sale. Registration forms will be distributed closer to the event and must be presented the day of the dance to enter. A parent/guardian signature is required on the forms. Parents—you do not have to sign your children in or out, but you must come inside the building to pick them up. Please do not wait in the parking lot.

Home School Sports of All Sorts

If your child is home schooled and you’re looking for a place for them to play sports with their peers, then this is the program for you! Join EYARC’s Kelly Leahy for 8 weeks of different sports activities including basketball, soccer, dodgeball and more!

Youth Volleyball Registration
Monday or Tuesday, September 22 or 23; 6–7:30 p.m.
Location: Lower Windsor Township Building (upper level)

Ages: 5th and 6th graders (2008-2009 school year)
Come and learn the fundamentals of volleyball, including how to serve and pass the ball. Practices will start in October and games will start in November and continue through December T-shirts and socks are included in the fee.
