The EYARC Creative Preschool can be a great experience for your child. We
work on getting your child ready for Kindergarten by learning concepts like
the alphabet, the basics of reading and writing, as well as math concepts
like counting, making patterns, and basic addition. Preschool offers your
child a chance to socialize and learn with his or her peers. We use state
standards to ensure your child is getting the most out of his/her time.
There are still a few openings in our Creative Preschool for the PM 3’s and

School Age Child Care (SACC)
2011-2012 School Age
Child Care (SACC) Program
Our 2011-2012 SACC program will again be held at Canadochly, Wrightsville
and Kreutz Creek Elementary Schools for children enrolled in Kindergarten
through 5th grade. We offer before-school care from 6:30 a.m. until school
starts and after-school care from school dismissal until 6 p.m. Children
will be able to purchase snack items in the afternoon at minimal prices. We
provide help with homework and an array of activities including: arts and
crafts, free play time, group games, physical fitness activities and special
events. We are licensed through the Department of Public Welfare, as well as
a participant with Keystone Stars, Child Care Consultants, Inc. and SPARK.

School's Out Program
School’s Out program is offered at LWT
building for all students when Eastern York School District is closed.
Program runs from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm. Breakfast & lunch are NOT provided, but
snacks are available for purchase. We require a minimum of 15 registered
participants per day to run. Pre-registration is required, at a cost of $40
per student. Open ONLY to EYSD residents.

Elementary Fun Night
Saturday, June 2 • 5:30 – 8:30 pm
Grades K-5
Location: LWT Gymnasium
Fee: $5.00/child
Parents, need a night out? Shopping need done? House cleaned? Maybe you just
need to hear the sound of…nothing for a little while. We have the perfect
fit. Bring your elementary child or children out to the EYARC Elementary Fun
Night. Activities include tumbling, group games, stations, arts and crafts.
We even sneak in a movie and pizza. Let the youngsters have a night to
“party” with their fellow friends. It’s going to be a blast!!
Safe Kids Tae Kwon Do
Saturdays throughout the year: 9:15 – 10:15 am
Ages: 6 & up
Location: LWT Gymnasium
Fee: $15 registration only $5/class
Safety awareness & Self-Defense are the backbone of this program. Kids learn
about Stranger Danger, Gang Avoidance, Gun Avoidance and Drug Avoidance,
while building confidence, self-esteem, and self discipline. Class is
instructed by 6th Degree Black Belt, Master Steve Kirby, who will help you
along the path to a black belt as well. For more information, contact EYARC

"Kickers" Soccer

Our program is geared toward introducing children between the ages of
3-6 to the great game of soccer. We emphasize basic soccer skills,
fundamentals, and sportsmanship in a fun, non-competitive, and educational
atmosphere. Team “jersey” is included with registration. If you are

Tee Ball

In 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, join us on Friday nights for some basketball,
music and FUN!! Music will be spun by G2 DJ Services. Registration Forms
will be distributed, closer to event dates. Please remember to bring your
registration form with you on the appropriate night, with your parent’s
signature of approval. Parents, you are required to come into the building
to pick your child up. NO child will be released to the parking lot!! If you
are interested in chaperoning, please contact Tim Smith at 246-8155.

EYSD Youth Cheerleading
Mondays, January 2 - February 20; 4:30 – 5:30 pm
Ages: 6 -10 years
Location: LWT Gymnasium
Fee: $40/resident $50/Non Resident
Registration Deadline: 12/30/2011
Instruction will be provided by the Eastern York School District
Cheerleaders and will be supervised by Head Cheerleading Coach Lori
Fordyce. Instruction includes: teamwork & sportsmanship, safety &
importance of following directions, basic gymnastic skills used in
cheerleading, basic stunting skills, and cheerleading-specific terminology,
and chant and cheer instruction. All participants will have the opportunity
to show off their new skills at one varsity football game and two junior
high football games during the season. Basic cheer uniforms will be
provided. Parents should plan to purchase white sneakers, white footy no
show socks, and a navy bodysuit.
