Spring Yard Sale
Get the closets, attics, and garages cleaned out and bring your items
down to the EYARC’s Spring Yard Sale . This year’s yard sale will be
held on Saturday, March 31st at the Lower Windsor Township Gym from 8 am
to 2 pm. Breakfast will be served from 8 am to 11 am for $3.50 a plate.
Breakfast includes eggs, pancakes and sausage. We also will be selling
EYARC’s famous Chicken Corn Soup by the bowl or the quart. Pre-ordering
is available.
**If you are interested in reserving a space for the yard sale, please
register by March 16. Spots available for “Yard Salers” or business
vendors. Spaces are 10 x 10 and sell for $25. Registration can be
completed over the phone or you can print a registration sheet off our
website and mail it in with your check.
Easter Egg Hunt
Join us for our Easter Egg
Hunt on Saturday, March 31st starting at 11 am at Rexroth Park.
This event is for children ages 3—8 years
old only. Children will be split into 3 different age
groups and will have a
traditional egg hunt.
Pre-registration is required by
March 23, 2012.
All ages
should report to the Large Pavilion at Rexroth Park to check-in. There
will be a visit from the Easter Bunny,
so don’t forget your camera. The rain location for this event will be in
the gym of the Lower Windsor Township Building.
Map, Compass & GPS Basic for Geocaching
This is an information filled clinic that should appeal to hikers,
Scouts, paddlers, and anyone interested in getting started in geocaching.
We will begin with some basic map and compass skills. We know this may
sound old-fashioned, but the more you know about map and compass basics,
the easier it will be to understand your GPS and getting started with
geocaching. Plus, what happens if modern technology fails!
Anyway, once we have you acclimated to map and compass, we will move on
to the basics of GPS and geocaching. We’ll provide compasses,
worksheets, and GPS units. The clinic will also include some work
outdoors with your new-found skills.

Time: 10:30 am to 1:30 pm
Cost: $22/person (includes clinic, work
materials and lunch)
