Program Discounts
Discounted Fee:
When registering for a program you will see a “Fee” and a “Discounted Fee”.
To receive the discounted fee you must be a resident of Lower Windsor
Township, Yorkana Borough or East Prospect Borough. The fees are a result
with which these three municipalities contribute to the recreation
commission. Those participants living outside of these municipalities pay
the Regular Fee.

Program Cancellation
Policy
The Eastern York Area Recreation
Commission reserves the right to cancel any program at any time for any
reason. Although we do our best to ensure that our programs continue as
scheduled, there are circumstances that sometimes prevent us from doing so.
Examples:

Low Registration Numbers:
Each program has a minimum number of participants who must be registered
for the program to be offered. If that minimum number is not reached, the
program will be cancelled. This is why registration deadlines are so
important.

Instructor Illness: If an
instructor is unable to attend a scheduled class due to illness, we do our
best to make up that class at the end. Please make sure that EYARC has a
current contact phone number as you will be called if the class is
cancelled.

Inclement Weather:
Depending on the event, EYARC may have to cancel due to inclement weather.
This could affect both outdoor and indoor events. In the event of snow or
ice, EYARC follows Eastern York School District’s schedule. If EYARC is
going to cancel due to snow or ice, we do our best to post it on WGAL.
Refund:
If a program is cancelled by EYARC, a full refund or credit will be issued.
Refunds take 2-4 weeks to be processed.
